1. Service
Lemmerly is a vocabulary rating platform that uses an ELO-based system to assess and track vocabulary knowledge. It is provided as-is for personal, educational use. Free accounts receive 3 sessions per day. Paid accounts receive additional sessions and features.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a Google account. We store your email address, display name, ELO rating, and session history. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing us.
3. Privacy
We do not sell your data. We do not display advertising. Your data is stored securely on Supabase (Seoul region). We collect only what is necessary to run the service: your identity (via Google OAuth), your session results, and your ELO history. We do not share your data with third parties except as required by law.
4. Content & Attribution
Word definitions and examples are sourced from multiple databases including WordNet and Project Gutenberg (public domain). Some example sentences are sourced from Wikipedia and are used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Wikipedia content is attributed inline where used.
5. Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed securely. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied with the service. To cancel or request a refund, email us.
6. Limitation of Liability
Lemmerly is provided for educational purposes. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of word definitions, etymologies, or example sentences. Use of this service for exam preparation is at your own discretion.
